New England Pasta sells fresh cut pasta, ready to re-heat entrees, sides, soups, salads, etc. I was in the area and picked up a few things to make at home over a few days. My favorite purchases were the fresh cut egg linguine and the Ritz-based stuffed cod. The fresh linguine cooks in a minute and the texture just hits different in the best possible way. The cod was nice and firm and the Ritz stuffing was crazy delicious. I also liked the Chicken Francaise. You can't really compare it to restaurant quality Francaise because it's specifically made to be re-heated and eaten later. With this in mind, I though that the small chicken pieces and lemon sauce were very solid. My other purchases included clam chowder and Tuna Mac Salad with peas. The Tuna Mac was pretty good. It wouldn't be in regular rotation for me, but I'd get it once in a while. The clam chowder was my least favorite, but I respect that New England Pasta seemed to go for something different. The texture was good and it had plenty of clams and potato. But it tasted like it had a little blue cheese flavor. I can't say for sure that they used blue cheese, but the chowder definitely had something different that gave it this vibe. For me, this flavor was a bit too assertive. I don't live near New England Pasta, but if I did, I would visit once in a while. Four Stars

I just love this place. The employees are so friendly and helpful! Three of us ordered very different items, and each was very happy: quiche & salad, Turkey sandwich, sweet potato flatbread. The coffees and variety of ice teas and smoothies made for another lovely element to our meals.

I love New England pasta Co! I have been there before and gotten salads, grilled chicken, cookies! They literally have everything and everything they prepare is fresh and delicious. Today, I visited their Beanz & Co area which is their coffee/breakfast space inside their shop. Beanz & Co offers made to order coffees and teas, lattes and smoothies. They also have breakfast sandwiches, egg dishes, and other items like avocado toast. Today, I ordered a cappuccino and avocado toast. My cappuccino was delicious! I had cinnamon powder on mine and it was just the way I like it. The avocado toast was good too. It had an egg, mashed and sliced avocado, and tomato. I think it could have used two eggs rather than just one. Other than that it was great on their toasted sourdough bread! They also served it with a side of everything bagel seasoning which I thought was super cute! Delicious combo of flavors on the avocado toast.

This is the go to place for freshly made pasta. I don't need a lot of pasta but when I do it is remarkable the difference between the dry pasta you buy in the supermarket and buying fresh pasta. The peppercorn angel hair is fantastic. You will also find a variety of prepared foods and among my favorites is there a grilled giant shrimp that go very well with the pasta! They also offer an assortment of baked goods and among those that I've tried include some really spectacular oatmeal cookies.

If you think the New England Pasta Company sells pasta, you'd be right. But if you think the New England Pasta Company only sells pasta, you'd be as wrong as wrong could be. This place is awesome. 1) They have a full selection of fresh pasta "cut to order" so you can get Fettuccine, Linguine, Tagliarini, Angel Hair, pappardelle and lasagna sheets in five flavors. What flavors ask you? How about classic egg, cracked black peppercorn, whole wheat, garlic & parsley, and spinach. 2) They have a full wall of frozen and refrigerated to go foods -think ten kinds of homemade raviolis, plus soups, salads, side dishes and entrees. 3) They have a wonderful bakery department selling fresh breads, cookies, desserts, bars, cupcakes, layer cakes. 4) They have a smoothie bar. 5) They have a wonderful restaurant (The New England Pasta Company Café) serving breakfast and lunch. 6) We had lunch at the Café today and really enjoyed our Maple Bacon B.L.T. (with candied maple bacon, organic spring mix, tomato, BBQ ranch on a brioche roll for $10.95) and a huge bowl of Turkey and White Bean Chili The Chili was pretty impressive in serving size and in taste. It was absolutely loaded with ground meat and a tasty tomato based sauce. Our lunch of the sandwich, the chili, a side salad, and an iced tea ran us a super reasonable $18.02. BTW, our smiling young server was an absolute joy to interact with. On the way out, we picked up a loaf of bread and a box of addictive Salty Sweet Toffee. Try some, you can thank me later.

Shamefully, I had never visited until recently - even though my wife has gotten plenty of takeout food from there. We stopped by for a weekend lunch. What's not to love? Good friendly local service. Fresh ingredients. PASTA specials. Salad specials. Good stuff. I won't pretend it's all foodie -- but it's just really solid food. It's a nice space, good wi-fi. Seriously, what's not to love. It's well worth the effort than the chain places that you sometimes settle for. Plus, takeout pasta and lovely desserts to boot!! I got a cupcake -- at least I did until I ate it in like three bites because it was so good.
